Will your school borrow the exhibition ACTIVISTS free of charge?

In the summer and autumn of 2018, the exhibition ACTIVISTS was shown at Stiklestad National Cultural Centre. Now SNK together with Iffit Qureshi wants to offer the exhibition free of charge to schools in Trøndelag.

ACTIVISTS start from the following question: What is the price for going to fight against injustice today? And where do you find the commitment and courage to fight? Through the exhibition, Iffit Qureshi presents a meeting with 32 zealots who have inspired, mobilized and broken down existing prejudices in Norway. Their stories touch and engage and shine a spotlight on both forgotten and living challenges in Norwegian society. During the viewing period at Stiklestad, the exhibition also included over 60 contributions from children and young people from Trøndelag who in spring 2018 worked on the theme "Youth's rostrum: What I'm passionate about"! THE ACTIVISTS have also been shown at the Intercultural Museum in Oslo and on Utøya.

The ACTIVISTS exhibition is a very good starting point for talking about social dynamics, social engagement and the value and cost of active citizenship. It is a simple exhibition in terms of assembly: the pictures can be hung from both ceilings and walls. A description of the exhibition can be read here: https://www.innherred.no/nyheter/2018/06/03/Storslagen-utstilling-om-aktivister-16817144.ece

Renting the exhibition is free, but the borrower must cover the shipping costs themselves.
