Stiklestad National Cultural Center is looking for summer employees in the period 1 June to 2 August
We are looking for summer employees who can work as guides, mediators, craftsmen, hosts and make arrangements so that guests have a good experience when they visit the museum. All summer employees have direct contact with the public through sales, activities and tours, we are therefore looking for positive, outgoing and service-oriented employees.

We are open every day from 22 June to 2 August.
See below to find more information about the various jobs you can apply for. Training will take place by agreement before 22 June. We take into account the end and start of school, but evening and weekend training must be expected.
We are looking for summer employees aged 16 and over. Adults are welcome to apply.

Guides
Our guides take small and large groups around Stiklestad and tell about the diverse history of the place. Other tasks include welcoming the public at reception, selling tickets and informing visitors about our offers. We are looking for guides with a very good ability to communicate in German or French, in addition to English.
Professional training by further agreement in June. Day and evening shifts from the beginning of June to the end of August.
The Folk Museum
The heirloom silver
Heirloom silvert is one of our summer offers at the folk museum, where adults and children bring history to life through improvisation and directed tableaus. Families live on three farmyards as in 1898, 1942 and 1959.
At the folk museum, we are looking for good mediators who have the ability to live in a role throughout the day. You must preferably have experience with theatre. An important part of the job is being responsible for the children involved The heirloom silver.
Trial period on The heirloom silver and training in history and activities from around 1 June. Shift weekdays and weekends approx. 11.00 – 16.00 from 22 June to 2 August..
Crafts and activities
We need employees at the folk museum who can lead and demonstrate contemporary activities that the public can watch and participate in. These can be old crafts such as weaving, spinning, woodworking or the like. We also want people who can e.g. baking, horseshoe throwing, singing games and other activities that can activate the audience. Here we emphasize that you know at least one craft or activity in advance, and that you are open to learning new things and like to talk to people.

Café Molåna in 1898
In Molåna, the public is invited in to buy coffee and cakes in 1898. Here we are looking for independent, service-oriented and responsible cafe hostesses.

Stiklastadir
Stiklastadir is our medieval farm, where our core product, Olav the Saint, has a central place. The farm consists of a long house, a guest loft and some smaller houses. Our goal is to bring the farm to life, so that our guests gain increased knowledge and experiences in an authentic environment. Here, adults and children can touch, feel and hear the story through crafts, games and drama. It can be anything from plant dyeing, needle tying and carpentry, to archery and archery, cooking, tours and farm work such as weeding, animal care and fence building.
At Stiklastadir, we want you who are interested in crafts, history and people, and who like to activate children and provide good experiences for everyone. We also need someone with communication or theater experience, to perform short monologues that convey history in a lively way.
