Even Stormoen is a Norwegian actor and voice actor. Stormoen made his stage debut in 1978 in Godspell in Grieghallen. He quickly made a name for himself as Romeo in Romeo og Julie at Den Nationale Scene where he was employed until 1981. In 1979 he had his national breakthrough as Lyngstrand in The Lady from the Sea at the Television Theater.
In television, he is also known from the satirical series MRMST Stormoen was employed at the Riksteateret in 1981–82 and then at the Nationaltheatret in 1983–88, where he was very convincing as David in The night is the mother of the day by Lars Norén. From 1989 he was employed at Rogaland Theatre, where he has played Harpagon in The Miser by Molière. For this role he received the Critics' Award (1997/98) and the Hedda Award (1998).
In 2010, Stormoen received The Gammleng Prize which is an honorary award for performing artists.
He also appears in this year's Hedda Prize-winning performance. The trigger system at the Transit Theatre-Bergen.
This is not the first time we see Even Stormoen in the play about St. Olav. He played the role of the king in 1997 and 1998 and played Gamal Jostein in 2017 and 2018. Now he returns to Stiklestad to play Gamal Jostein again.
