In the lecture "But what is REALLY the olive heritage? A thousand years of extreme commitment" director at Stiklestad National Cultural Center Heidi Anett Øvergård Beistad takes a closer look at precisely these questions. The aim is to make visible the diversity that hides behind the term and how this breadth has both contributed to the millennial relevance of the legacy and ongoing debates about the actual content of the legacy. In the extension, she will also touch on SNK's extensive work to safeguard its responsibility linked to the symbolic, thousand-year-old heritage.
