The guest loft
Reconstructed building typical of the Christian Middle Ages.
In the Guest Loft, the public hears the stories of what happened after 1030. This is a building that is typical of the Christian Middle Ages.
The guest loft is lofted on two floors, with an external staircase in the hallway on both long sides. The building has two rooms downstairs and two rooms upstairs. Here we can tell about the miracles that happened around the dead King Olav, about how Bishop Grimkjell declared him a saint the following year, about the construction of a cathedral in Nidaros and wandering pilgrims. All in a contemporary medieval environment. Tapestries on the walls, a house altar dedicated to the Virgin Mary, fixed beds and benches, and a long table around which the people gather for banquets.
