The guest loft is a building that is typical of the Christian Middle Ages. The loft is lofted on two floors, with an external staircase in the hallway on both long sides. The building has two rooms downstairs and two rooms upstairs. We rent out the entire first floor for up to 6 people for a completely unique accommodation. You don't have to be a pilgrim to spend the night in Gjesteloftet, everyone is warmly welcome here! All in a contemporary medieval environment. Tapestry on the walls, fixed beds and benches, and a long table around which the people gather.
Accommodation 1 May – 1 October:
The beds are a reconstruction from the Middle Ages and are slightly shorter than today's standard. There are 6 single beds in the same room, like a dormitory. There are toilet and shower facilities, and there is a small kitchenette for dry food. Breakfast can be purchased additionally, served at the hotel. Bed linen can be rented in addition.

Pilgrim: NOK 550 per bed
Non-pilgrim: NOK 750 per bed
Can be purchased in addition:
Breakfast NOK 245 (Restaurant Skalden)
Bed linen NOK 200 per set
(sheet, duvet and pillowcase as well as a large towel)

Scandic Stiklestad has a restaurant with a large a la carte menu and dinner of the day. All rights.
There is an opportunity to buy a packed lunch from breakfast, NOK 115.
Various information
All pilgrims are welcome to Stiklestad, whether traveling on foot, by bicycle, horse or by car/bus. Transport of luggage to Munkeby: NOK 100 per person per section (minimum price NOK 500).
Must be booked within 3 days before arrival.

We sell pilgrims' passes for NOK 50. Pilgrims' passes must be presented at check-in, and are a prerequisite for receiving pilgrim prices for accommodation.

The guest loft is located on the medieval farm Stiklastadir with the Viking longhouse, barn and stables, forge and medieval yard. Stiklastadir is part of Stiklestad National Cultural Center and is located right next to Stiklestad Church, the folk museum, the historic Olavshaugen, the culture house with exhibitions and Scandic Stiklestad. Stiklestad is located in Verdal municipality, 4 km from the center of Verdal, in the Innherred region in Trøndelag county. Innherred consists of the municipalities of Levanger, Verdal, Inderøy, Steinkjer and Snåsa, which are located north of Trondheim along the E6. Norway's history runs, like E6, like a red thread through Innherred.
