The summer holidays at Stiklestad

- The medieval farm Stiklestad with both the Longhouse, the Gildehallen, the Gjesteloftet and the battle

Activities for the whole family
There are tours of the area every hour, but the tour at 11 each day is adapted for children so that both young and old find the history, the way of life and the battle exciting. Experience what it was like to live in the Viking Age with your family, and do exciting activities together. We call it learning with play!

Sleep like they did in the Middle Ages
Do you want to experience a whole day at Stiklestad as it was in the Viking Age? We have opened for accommodation at Gjesteloftet at Middelaldergården. Sleep in beds reconstructed from the Middle Ages with the historic walls around you.
If you prefer a hotel pillow, room service and today's luxury, it is also possible to book a hotel stay at Scandic Stiklestad. With the immediate proximity to Viking summer, this is also an excellent choice for those who like the same comfort as at home.

Experience Viking Summer between June 21st and August 3rd. Admission for children under 18 years of age is free, for adults admission costs 225 kroner online, 250 at the box office. Bring the whole family and create great and historical memories together.
