The night before the battle
Summer 1030. It's quiet on the Sul farm the day before the battle at Stiklestad. The small farming community just wants peace and quiet. Then a king rides in, heading for a war he will lose. Nothing will be the same.
For over 70 years, "The Play of Saint Olav" has given audiences goosebumps under the open sky at Stiklestad. We show what happens to ordinary people when history knocks on their door – in a magnificent, musical performance.
