Opening concert with Bjørn Eidsvåg w/band
We are delighted to announce that Bjørn Eidsvåg and his band will be performing the opening concert during the Olympic Days in Stiklestad, July 24, 2026!
After half a century in the music industry, Bjørn Eidsvåg stands as a beacon in Norwegian music life, and for a number of years he has played approximately 80 concerts every year in all corners of the country. After an eventful autumn and winter with concerts and a new show, he is ready to take to the festival stages in the summer of 2026. "We are incredibly pleased that Eidsvåg's only stop at Innherred in the summer of 2026 is with us," says production manager for Olsokdagene, Ida Haugmark.
Closing concert with Trang's birth
We and Scandic Stiklestad are pleased to announce that TRANG FØDSEL will conclude the 2026 Oslo Festival with a concert in Borggården on July 29th.
This will be the very last concert in Borggården's history, before the renovation towards 2030 begins.
The same year that Trang Fødsel was established, Borggården in Stiklestad had its grand baptism of fire, with the Olsokorkesteret and local soloists, and the newspaper reported great success. For over 30 years, Borggården has been an arena that has given us great musical experiences, but now Borggården will become Borggårdstua, a new beautiful indoor multi-purpose arena that will be completed by 2030.
