Without food and drink, as is well known, the hero cannot do. In Restaurant Skalden, you can enjoy the atmospheric surroundings while you fortify yourself with a snack and something good by the glass.
About the Bard
Restaurant Skalden is open every day of the year, except for a few days at Easter and Christmas. Here you can get everything from coffee and cakes to snacks and dinners – and we offer catering for all occasions.
Versatility is our strength. We supply food for experiences in the museum buildings, and for larger groups we also use conference rooms and the Heimskringla restaurant in the hotel building.
The venue has a view of Stiklestad Church and the surrounding area, and can accommodate 120 guests. On nice days, the outdoor seating is a popular gathering spot.
We also offer several benefit plans, such as: student card, the coffee card og the pizza card.
The hotel focuses on environmentally friendly operations and is Nordic Ecolabelled.
