Stiklestad National Cultural Center (and parts of the museum area) and Scandic Stiklestad meet the requirements for accessibility/universal design in the vast majority of areas.

The cultural center and the hotel have several floors, which are accessible by lift.

The hotel and cultural center (does not apply to the museum area) are Swan Ecolabelled with license number 2055 0175. We focus on environmentally friendly operations and take conscious responsibility for how we affect the environment.

A free companion ticket must be ordered together with an ordinary ticket, and a valid companion certificate must be presented at the door. The outdoor scene's wheelchair spaces are row 1 on fields A and B. Here there is space for 5 wheelchair spaces per field.

There are wheelchair spaces at all events in the amphitheater, castle courtyard, conference hall and the auditorium. Contact 740 44200 when ordering.

There are 4 HC parking spaces for disabled people in the car park.

The nearest taxi rank is 5 meters in front of the entrance. Verdal Station is 4 km away, if you come to Verdal by bus/train. You can then walk up the footpath along the beautiful birch avenue Stiklestad allé, or take a bus or taxi.

Toilets adapted for disabled people are available on both floors. and downstairs, as well as on the way up to the play amphitheater.

Teleslynge is installed in the conference hall and the auditorium.

Dogs are allowed on the museum grounds. With the exception of "Viking summer" when we have farm animals on the museum grounds. During the "Play about Saint Olav", animals are not allowed during the performance due to horses on stage. This also applies to guide dogs.

The hotel has animal rooms available.
